How It Started
It Started With a Challenge
ME & U BBQ started the way all great things do — around a grill, with good people, and a whole lot of flavor.
We were mixing name-brand sauces together, chasing a flavor we couldn't find anywhere on the shelf. Then one of our sons called us out — said we couldn't claim it as our own if we were using someone else's product to make it.
He was right. So the journey began. We started from scratch. There were misses along the way — plenty of them — but eventually we landed on something that was genuinely ours. A flavor that was different from everything else out there. Something we were proud of.
We made more sauces. Came up with a name. And decided it was something worth sharing with the world.
